Day 34 Daily Cleaning
Today I cleaned at Newton Lake in an area behind a carwash and CVS. I have been to this spot before, but this time something caught my eye as soon as I walked down the hill. The item was covered in moss and seemed like a fabric of sorts. I set up my camera and prepared to go get my shovel to dig it out. Luckily, I was able to get a firm grip on it without the shovel. Newton Lake Trip 4
Here I am back at Newton Lake for a fourth straight trip. Our first three trips out we were able to clean 8 tires from the lake, a lot of fishing line, and plenty of trash from the shoreline. It's almost like it happens every time I go out to clean, but I started this trip by finding and removing another tire. The tire was under a tree with a lot of thorn bushes around it. Newton Lake Trip 3
Hello team! I just got done remastering my third trip to Newton Lake and I didn't remember half the stuff I cleaned out of that lake. We started in the parking lot right by the actual boat launch. We were able to fill a whole trash bag in the parking lot. It was a quick clean up so I was able to get on the lake early. Newton Lake Trip 2
Today I have just finished editing my second trip to Newton Lake. I want to remaster the old episodes during the winter months to reflect this idea for Clean Jersey Waterways. Our first trip to Newton Lake brought in a lot of trash such as a crazy looking stuffed animal, fishing line, lawn chair, and two big tires.
